Welcome Letter
Thanks for checking out the Welland BIC Church website. We are always happy to meet new friends.
It has been my privilege to serve as the senior pastor at Welland BIC for the last 18 years. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to introduce you to our church family and to welcome you to come and see us in the near future.
Welland BIC is a Bible believing, evangelical, community-minded congregation. Our mission is to build a community of growing, serving, loving followers of Christ who wholeheartedly worship and obey God and share the good news of Jesus Christ with all people.
We are committed to providing special programs that meet the unique needs of children, youth, single and married adults as well as retirees and seniors. We seek to fulfill our mission as a church in five specific areas: worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and service.
We believe that God has called us to be a healing church for broken lives .We very much believe that the church is a hospital for sinners and not a hotel for saints. Every human being, from the youngest to the oldest, regardless of gender, race, colour, background or culture is deserving of knowing the redeeming grace of God in their lives.
For many years we have been greatly encouraged by and involved with a fellowship of like-minded churches in the city of Welland. We meet together regularly for prayer, worship and fellowship.
Personally, I’m excited and grateful to be a part of congregational life along with my family. Weekly, we are witnessing how God changes peoples lives and gives each one of us a purpose to live for. Please accept this loving invitation to join with us to experience God’s love and forgiveness and the blessing of His abundant salvation.
